An MRI Technologist is a healthcare professional who operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images of patients. They work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to help diagnose various medical conditions.
Our program takes 12 to 18 months to complete, depending on your pace and schedule. This includes both the online education portion and clinical training hours.
The education portion (Phase I and Phase II) is 100% online. However, you will need to complete clinical training hours at an in-person site near you. We help place students at clinical sites within 50 miles of their location.
Upon successful completion of our program and the registry exam, you will be eligible to become ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) certified.
Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Many of our successful students come from various backgrounds including nursing, tech assistants, transporters, and even stay-at-home parents.
Yes! Our didactic education is 100% online and asynchronous, specifically designed for career changers who need to balance their education with existing work or family commitments. Clinical training schedules can also be coordinated to fit your availability.
